Contact infoNora Avo overhead line cable roller is attached to post hook and the installed cable can be placed on the hanger without removing the roller first. Nora Avo does not have supports or other details on its front side that would make working more difficult or unsafe for the installer. The frame is very durable. Nora Avo's safety chain prevents both the cable and the roller from falling down during aerial line installation. Safety chain is fastened to fastening point in the twofold manner, which allows adjustment of chain length as necessary. Nora Avo's safety chain can also be fastened to the lower end of the installation ring - in such case the cable cannot fall down when it is lifted from the roller, yet it can be placed in its proper location on the hanger.
When working at high locations, old overhead cable rollers can cause situations that are problematic and dangerous for the installer.
Roller hanging on the suspension hook must be removed first, in order to replace it with the hanger. While removing the roller, the installer has to move the overhead cable on his shoulder for a moment. If the line is straight, the cable presses the installer downwards. If the post is located in a place where the line curves, the cable presses the installer both downwards and sideways. For example, in case of 30° angles the overhead cable may exert up to 200 kg pressure both downwards and outwards.
Collarbones have sometimes been broken because of this pressure. The situation becomes truly dangerous when the cable drops e.g. on the safety harness, pressing the installer against the post.
Nora Avo cable roller is light and easy to install. The hanger can be placed on the suspension hook before or after installation of the cable. Roller is attached to the fastening hook present on the post. Nora Avo safety chain is locked through installation ring to fastening point on the ring.
The cable and the roller cannot fall down because of possible swings.
Nora Avo significantly improves work safety and convenience, since the cable is never held by the installer's muscle strength only. There is no need to detach the roller before overhead cable is in its place on the hanger. Nora Avo also considerably shortens down time, since the new cable and the old cable can be on the posts at the same time, and thus the interruptions only last as long as it takes to complete the connections.
Nora Orsi overhead line cable roller is attached to post girder. Locking is performed using a screwdriver. Fast attachment and low weight ensure easy handling. Appropriately designed end plates guide the cable and protect reel from impact damage. The frame is statically durable and light. Possible falling of the cable from the reel during installation is prevented with the help of a safety chain that is drawn across the roller and fastened to a holder located in the fastening point. Because of its small size and low weight, this roller is very easy to use. The reel is equipped with sliding bearings.
